Affordable Dental Treatment

Affordable Dental Treatment

Are you looking for affordable dental treatment, then you’ve come to the right place.

At Dr Francois Coetzee’s practice, you will receive affordable dental care of the highest possible standard, underscored by a holistic approach, that will not only address your immediate perceived oral and dental needs but also steer you towards health and a sense of wellbeing and appreciation for total oral prosperity.

What is “affordable dental treatment”?

Some may say that it is to have the cheapest possible treatment to stop the pain or address the complaint, with no thought given to the long-term outcome and the impact the treatment may have on the overall health and wellbeing of the individual.

Cheapest is not best.

In my estimation, this is a very unwise approach to dental care. I have over 20 years of clinical practice experience and can refer you to numerous cases where this approach ended in a disaster that could have been avoided if a holistic approach with quality dental treatment had been applied.

Philosophy Statement

I endeavour to see each patient as a whole person, not just as a mouth full of teeth or an isolated problem. I find pleasure in establishing overall health, rather than just patching up a problem tooth.

Cheap Dental Treatment Problems

I have had a number of patients over the years who went the so-called “AFFORDABLE “cheap route. Then because of ..

Some Reasons the Cheap Dental Treatment Failed

poor quality materials

t

unproven techniques

s

cheap equipment

the “AFFORDABLE “cheap route failed after a few short months or years.

When only a simple minimally invasive restoration was initially required, the result was that they ended up requiring additional treatments to repair or restore – such as :

  • Crowns
  • Root canals
  • Extractions
  • Implants or Dentures

To redo the restoration and correct the situation then required more expensive and invasive procedures.

These end up costing you, the patient, not only much more in terms of money but also in terms of sacrificed health and tooth structure that can never be regained.

These invasive treatments

  • mutilate healthy tooth structure,
  • added unnecessary expense

Unseen Costs to your health

Your mouth is the entry point of your digestive tract and is inseparably linked to your total wellbeing, physically and emotionally. Physically because whatever comes in through your mouth impacts the whole body.

Keeping Micro-organisms in check

It is not only food and drink that pass through the mouth, we also have to consider micro-organisms.

Examples of micro-organisms

    essential bacteria

    harmful bacteria

    viruses

    parasites

Yes, quality dental treatment keeps the micro-organisms that impact your total being, in check! A seriously overlooked fact!

Yes, quality dental treatment keeps the micro-organisms that impact your total being, in check! A seriously overlooked fact!

Oral infection and decay greater impact than high cholesterol

Oral infection and decay has a greater impact than high cholesterol on heart disease and strokes. Dental decay and gum infection can lead to infections in prosthesis used in hip, knee, shoulder, and heart valve replacements. Chronic fatigue, low birth weight, and arthritis all have strong links with poor oral health.

Emotionally, because we all know the undisputed role that teeth play in your appearance and smile. You yourself know all too well how intricately linked your appearance is to your emotional wellbeing.

A cheap “affordable” filling on a front tooth, that changes colour after a while because an “affordable” filling material was used, costs you much more in embarrassment and loss of self-esteem and confidence than a quality and therefore more expensive restoration placed by a competent clinician that uses more expensive but quality materials and equipment, would have cost you at the time of placement.

Doing it right the first time is more affordable

Redoing something that failed because it was done in a Cheap “affordable” way always costs you more in the long run than doing something properly the first time. So, I ask again: what is “affordable dental treatment”?

What really is affordable dental treatment …

    • quality dental treatment,
    • performed by a competent experienced clinician
    • with a holistic approach to dental care
    • who has the patient’s best interest at heart
    • while using quality materials and equipment,

AFFORDABLE DENTAL TREATMENT. That is the affordable dental treatment that my practice offers to you the valued client.
